Finally back on the road!
Trying my best to avoid taking the same route back I end up taking an unusual one south on a high elevated mountain road, crossing the Mekong river, chasing storm up into the mountains ahead, crossing the Mekong again and finally reaching Luang Prabang, the ancient royal capital.
